The top spots for Halloween decor in Asheville

From monsters on Merrimon and apparitions on Amboy to witches + webs in Woodfin Asheville is adorned with some frighteningly festive Halloween decor.  We recently asked where we can find the best holiday decorations around town and you really delivered.

Check out the list below, load up the car, and take the family on a tricked out tour of Asheville’s most Halloween-themed streets and neighborhoods.

💀 Most hair-raising homes

241 Murdock Ave | This terrifying pumpkin thief can have all of our pumpkins, as far as we’re concerned. 😳 While night is the best time to catch a glimpse of this ghoulish gourd for the full illuminated effect, he’s also pretty scary in the day. Bonus: He is 15′ tall and handmade from wood, wire, foam, and papier-mâché.

200 N. Skyloft Dr. | Spooky music and a socially-distanced skeleton (wearing his mask, obviously) will greet you at this freakily festive residence. We’re really loving the deep red skull projected on the outside of the house – so creepy.

London Rd. | This yard is truly the stuff of nightmares. Not only do we have classic ghosts, we also spy angry skeletons, creepy baby dolls, insane asylum escapees + at least one evil clown. And is that Sadako from The Ring swinging with the baby doll?

122 Coleman Ave. This creepy “Pet Sematary” looks great both during the day + at night, when all those tiny little headstones and crosses really pop. RIP, Fido…or maybe not.
