We are looking for an Account Manager to create and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business from existing clients and ensure that we’re delivering a work-class client experience. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing technical planning materials. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Project and Product Development departments) to improve the entire client experience. This position may require occasional travel. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will have the ability to conduct productive and meaningful engagements with clients, creating value and earning their trust. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with all our teams to achieve goals while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run.
Responsibilities
‣ Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
‣ Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
‣ Assist company lead generation initiatives by developing prospective clients through cold calling and networking.
‣ Initiate contact with prospects that has been generated by marketing efforts
‣ Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
‣ Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
‣ Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal leadership
‣ Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet departmental and company goals.
‣ Regularly meet with clients both virtually and in person to discuss business needs.
‣ Prepare reports on account status
‣ Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Skills
‣ Experience as an Project Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager or other equivalent role.
‣ Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
‣ Information Technology background preferred.
‣ Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
‣ Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
‣ Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
‣ Ability to learn and use Information Technology language.
‣ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
‣ BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
‣ Prefer individuals with experience in any of the following: IT services and products, managed IT services, or IT consulting
‣ Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required.
‣ Must possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
‣ May require lifting to 50 pounds.
‣ All employees are hired conditional to a background check and drug screen.
