Move over, hard seltzer — we’re talking about high seltzer. For those looking to cut back on alcohol (or just add a new drink to the menu), Delta 8- and Delta 9-infused seltzer is an intriguing option. Think: a relaxing, tasty sipping experience with none of the hangover.

Meet Rebel Rabbit, founded in 2021 in Greenville, SC with a mission to create products that lead to healthier living. They created their all-natural, high-quality seltzer for anyone looking to cut back on alcohol and its health implications while still being able to have fun and “drink” socially.

Rebel Rabbit’s non-alcoholic seltzers are infused with Delta 8 and Delta 9, both federally legal forms of THC. Shoppers can choose between D8 and D9 varieties of seltzer with different concentration levels (read: Mild Hare or Wild Hare) and flavors. Bonus: Shop online or find Rebel Rabbit locally at Botanist and Barrel, Static Age Records, ELDR Restaurant, All Souls Grotto, Black Mountain Brewing + more.*

Gorgeous spots to sip tea in Asheville, NC

When we say vibes, we mean it. | Photo by AVLtoday

Pinkies up, Asheville. In honor of National Hot Tea Day, here are four spots around town that offer delightful cuppas.

Dobra Tea, 78 N. Lexington Ave. + 707 Haywood Rd.

These Eastern-style tea rooms offer a thoughtfully sourced selection of teas from all over the world, including Nepal, India, China, Taiwan, and Japan. Be sure peruse the 70+ page menu, which offers tea sampling experiences, chai, yerba mate, and several pages of iced tea elixirs.

High Climate Tea Company, 12 S. Lexington Ave.

Entering this sunny, plant-draped shop, it’s clear that owner Hunter Strickland excels at sourcing Chinese teas and cultivating a vibe. Every year, he travels to China to meet with farmers who grow white, green, oolong, black, puerh, and tisanes teas in high-altitude climates using traditional, chemical-free methods.

Ivory Road Cafe & Kitchen, 1854 Brevard Rd., Arden

Ivory Road pulls out all the stops at its twice-monthly afternoon tea service, offered on the first Saturday and Tuesday of each month (and select holiday dates). Expect classic bites like cucumber sandwiches — but the service also has an Appalachian flare with its pimento cheese tea sandwiches + deviled egg salad cups. Reserve your spot 24 hours in advance.
