Our moment has arrived: this Friday, the Asheville Tool Library kicks off its three-day “Sharpening and Repair Extravaganza,” which offers locals a chance to repair and sharpen everything from chisels and garden loppers to heavy-duty chainsaws.
Per usual, there’s also plenty of fun places to eat. Pretend you’re living in a Swiss ski town at Botanist & Barrel’s Friday night Raclette special. Or if you’re feeling more nautical, brunch your heart out at this multi-course meal from Jettie Rae’s Oyster House.
Finally, if you love to laugh, you don’t want to miss The Comedy Zone special that debuts at the Wortham Center this weekend. The multi-month series kicks off with headliner Shaun Jones and will rotate in a new comic each month.
