Fun Fact
Do you speak Russian? Quite a few Ashevillians do, it turns out. That’s because it’s the most spoken language in Asheville after English and Spanish. However, French is more common throughout North Carolina — so why not learn both?

If you’ve still got trick-or-treating or party-attending to do tonight, it can be easy to get caught up in the candy + costumes — so the City of Asheville offered a quick recycling reminder. Candy wrappers, costumes, makeup, and decorations should stay out of your recycling bin (even if you’re licking that Snickers wrapper clean).
