Concert

The lineup for Christmas Jam just dropped, including acts like Slash and Myles Kennedy, Billy F. Gibbons, and Gov’t Mule. The show takes place Saturday, Dec. 9 at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena — locals can buy presale tickets at the box office this Saturday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m.

Festival

The LEAF Global Arts Festival kicks off today, Thursday, Oct. 18, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 22, showcasing First Nations performers and artists with the theme of “Legends of the Americas.” Find out more about what’s in store for the festival, and get tickets to camp out or just explore for the day.

Drink

How ‘bout them apples? The inaugural Carolina CiderFest takes place this Saturday, Oct. 21 at McCormick Field, offering hard cider, mead, apple wine, seltzers, live music, crafts, and more. Find tickets, including discounted rates for designated drivers.

It’s Tall John’s first birthday today, Thursday, Oct. 19. To celebrate one year of service, the restaurant is serving up food and drink specials, including bringing back the beloved Pork Schnitzel for this weekend only. ICYMI, the neighborhood joint also recently expanded its hours, opening for dinner every day from 4-9 p.m.
