Hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Bargello, 7 Patton Ave.
From 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can enjoy a four-course, family-style pre-fixe meal — the menu is $89 for adults and $49 for children.
Fork Lore, 43 Town Square Blvd.
A limited menu will be served from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Golden Hour, 95 Roberts St.
A family-style pre-fixe menu will be offered from 1 to 6 p.m. — the meal is $85 per person.

On Tuesday, Dec. 12, the City of Asheville announced the retirement of Asheville Police Department Chief David Zack, who has been in the role since February 2020. City Manager Debra Campbell, Chief Zack, and Asheville Police Department leaders are currently working on a plan for the transition.

ArtsAVL has shared the 43 recipients of its Grassroots Arts Program grants, which offer funds for programs + operations of Buncombe County nonprofit arts organizations. Grants were awarded for work in a variety of fields, like children’s theatre, community radio, and dance. See the recipients.
Community
Buncombe County will be talking community investment at a Grants Open House on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Learn about grant opportunities for organizations, including the nine Community Investment Grant programs, as well as the Open Space Bond and Affordable Housing Bond.
Development
At its Tuesday, Dec. 12 meeting, the Asheville City Council approved plans for two new housing developments. The development at Lake Julian in Arden includes 279 units, and the Fairview Road development in South Asheville includes 269 apartments and 12 townhomes. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
