  • Buncombe County is hosting the Black Legacy Month Program on Tuesday, Feb. 27 to honor and commemorate Black history in the area. The event will include a singalong to the “Black National Anthem,” a Q+A with members of the Community Reparations Commission, and a monologue by spoken word artist Penny Mecham.
Arts
  • ArtsAVL is conducting the Creative Spaces study to see how local creative spaces are being used and to identify issues affecting creative growth. The study is collecting data on cost of living and space accessibility — but local voices are needed too. Arts professionals can share their experiences in a survey by Monday, March 11.

  • Go big or go home.
