The Moogseum is marking a milestone, celebrating five years of educating and inspiring people through interactive exhibits honoring Bob Moog’s legacy.
On Thursday, May 23 (what would’ve been Bob Moog’s 90th birthday), the museum is hosting an all-day anniversary party, beginning with a guided tour from Michelle Moog-Koussa. Exhibits will be updated with new items from the Bob Moog Foundation Archive, like Herbert Deutsch’s Melodia Theremin and a rare Moog muSonics Minimoog Model D synthesizer (read: really fancy synthesizer equipment). Plus, folks will have a chance to play the historic Minimoog Voyager.
If you’re itching to start celebrations a little earlier, this Friday, May 17, Pack Memorial Library is hosting a two-part birthday party for the electronic music pioneer.
