Twenty years. That’s the milestone anniversary that Harvest Records is celebrating this weekend with Transfigurations IV. This year, the independent record store will offer a lineup of free events “as a way to say thanks” for the decades of support. Note: Some events require an RSVP.
On Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m., dive into the shop’s two decades of stories in an immersive presentation produced with This Land Films and stage design by Swannatopia.
Stop by the record store to catch live performances and DJ sets on the afternoons of Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24. And while performances will be happening indoors on Saturday, the Harvest Lot Party will host plenty of artists, vendors, and family-friendly fun behind the building.
The celebration will end with sets from Helado Negro, Carlos Niño, and Zenizen at The Orange Peel on Saturday night at 8 p.m.

I’m only slightly embarrassed to admit that The Haunted Farm is a bit too scary (okay, fine, way too scary) for my taste. But I’m not one to back down from a challenge, so I might have to head back this year to see if I can handle the horror.
