Tailgate like a local

Raise a glass to Thirst for Good 🍺

Presented by Highland Brewing

Skyland Distributing is also matching every Highland dollar donated. | Photo provided by Highland Brewing
Highland Brewing has been a beacon for positive community change here in AVL for 30+ years.

That legacy continues this week with the launch of Thirst for Good, a new brand campaign representing the intersection of good beer and good deeds.

A Beer with a Giving Spirit

To commemorate the launch, Highland is also unveiling a brand-new, draft-only beer, Highland Haze — a juicy 7.4% IPA brewed with Incognito hops and a giving spirit.

With a goal of $10,000, Highland will contribute to the NC Hospitality Workers Relief Fund, and 100% of contributions marked for Western NC will go directly to hospitality workers in our area. Partners like Skyland Distributing will also be matching Highland’s donations.

Highland Haze is already available at all your fave local hotspots. But if you want to be sure, use this handy Beer Finder to pinpoint the closest place to grab a pint.
Cheers to community

The Wrap

Brianna Williams Wrap
I’ve been eyeing Darë’s vegan cheese for a while now, and today’s story has given me the final push I needed to try it. I’m planning to play it safe and start with the roasted garlic wedge, but the balsamic fig one is also calling my name.. which must mean that I need to get two.
