The city is going green — we’re talking the music, parties, food, and drinks of St. Patrick’s Day in Asheville. So here are a few ways to sham-rock out this weekend.

CSA Fair | 3:30-6 p.m. | YWCA of Asheville | Free | Meet 10+ local farmers offering CSAs (community supported agriculture) at this fair organized by the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project.
Friday, March 14
Holi Hai | 5-9 p.m. | Chai Pani | Free | Banks Avenue will be full of street food stalls, vibrant Holi colors, bhangra dancing, and a photo booth for this celebration of the arrival of spring.
“How do we disappear yet still be seen?” | 7 p.m. | Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center | Free | The Swannatopia Experimental Art Club will present a fashion and puppet show to a live improvised score.
The NCDOT Rail Division Director said the Old Fort Loops, a historic stretch of railroad, will be rebuilt after Helene tore it apart. The loops are part of the Asheville to Salisbury line, which is in the early stages of receiving funding to bring back passenger rail service. (Asheville Citizen-Times)

Here’s the tea. On Saturday, March 29, Haywood Common + The Whale are hosting a fundraiser to help Asheville Tea Co. rebuild. Make your own tea blend, sip on tea-based cocktails, and spoon specialtea ice cream to support the small biz — snag this limited-edition tote for an extra dose of encouragement.

Immersive art gallery and performing art space, Third Room, will soon unveil its “Exploring Cyber Punk: A Reflection of 2025 America” exhibit. 🍕 Slice, slice, baby

Here’s what’s topping our to-do list this week: try the delicious specialty pies being served for WNC Pizza Week. Asheville’s favorite food blogger, tour guide, and all-around food fan Stu Helm baked up the idea, calling on local pizza makers to offer unique flavors at special prices, beginning Monday, March 10, through Friday, March 14.
