Etch your love for Asheville in stone. Bring the family to Odyssey Clayworks this Saturday, June 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., for Community Tile Making where you’ll help shape, stamp, and carve messages into clay tiles for the City’s upcoming public art installation. A playable harp by artists Nick Geurts and Alex Irvinewill be put up on the Reed Creek Greenway near the intersection with Ocala Street, adorned with your custom tiles.
The harp, which was originally supposed to be installed at the Broadway Public Safety Station a few blocks away, was moved to the greenway for better accessibility to the public and to alleviate utility conflicts.
Look for the art installation — and your tiles sometime this fall.

Lucky for us, Asheville has plenty going on this month. Check out our round-up of June events we’re most looking forward to, and let us know if there’s anything we missed.
