Every day, we write AVLtoday with one goal: to help you feel more connected to your city. And we’re not alone — our friends across the US, from Seattle to Tampa Bay, do the same for our 6AM City communities.

We believe in the power of local media to keep the community informed, engaged, and excited about where they live. That’s why our newsletter is and will remain free.

How do we make it sustainable?

We partner with national brands and some of Asheville’s best organizations + businesses that support our mission of bringing only good news to your inbox. But we also rely on reader support.

Local food delivery service lives on

Terramonga farm

Farm-fresh food will continue to be delivered through new ownership. | Photo by Terramonga Hub

After 13 years of delivering farm-fresh food throughout the community, Mother Earth Food announced its closure in October. But now, a local farm is carrying Mother Earth Food’s mission forward. Fairview’s Terramonga Farm will resume the local food delivery service at the start of December as Terramonga Hub.

The partnership is new, but the same dedicated team behind Mother Earth Food will remain. “It feels incredibly special to pass the baton to owners who share our core values,” said Andrea DuVall, Mother Earth Food cofounder.

Terramonga began as a small family farm in 2018 and has since opened Terramonga Deli & Provisions, offering stellar sandwiches and baked goods.

Subscribe to the Terramonga Hub newsletter for delivery updates.
