For the first day of Small Business Week, we’re shining a light on the painters, potters, jewelers, screenprinters, and woodworkers that make Asheville a work of art.

Let’s embark on a virtual art crawl and get to know some of our city’s local artists a bit better.

The Flood Collection
In the wake of the RAD’s destruction, artists came together to create a playing card deck and hardbound coffee table book to immortalize 54 original works of art that were lost to Helene.

The volunteer-led non-profit is made up of fiber artists, farmers, small-scale fiber processors, and educators growing the local fiber economy. Stop by the Depot Street retail store to shop items from designers or sign up for a class to weave, knit, felt, or crochet your own creation.
