Take a sensory trip down memory lane with artist and storyteller Shunyu Huang. Story Parlor’s latest artist-in-residence will lead the “Memory Quilt” project over three installments, with each event featuring a group of artists sharing multi-disciplinary stories and art grounded in the senses.

The project strives for unity everywhere, offering attendees a chance to join in the quilt creation and weave their own memories into the larger conversation at the end of each evening.

So bring along your tales stirred by scent, taste, sound, sight, and touch, and join Shunyu in stitching together stories of diverse cultural heritages for a celebration of shared experiences.

Scent and taste will tell the story on Thursday, July 13, and sound will spark memories on Thursday, July 20. Sight and touch will close the narrative on Thursday, July 27. All events begin at 7 p.m., and tickets are on a pay-what-you-can scale.
