Some people make to-do lists — we make to-dine lists. Many hot new restaurants, cafes, and bars have opened in Asheville since July, from breweries with comfort cuisine to Indian street food.

To satisfy those who are really hungry for fresh dining options, we’ve got details on several more Land of the Sky restaurants coming soon, too. Grab your forks as we dig right in.

Coffee, matcha, tea, and sweet treats found a new pretty-in-pink home.

Botiwalla , 697 Haywood Rd. | Casual Indian street food | Reservations: No
From Chai Pani’s Chef Meherwan Irani, this spot serves up dishes like bhel puri and a paneer tikka roll in tribute to the Irani cafes of India .

Diatribe , 1042 Haywood Rd. | Brewery + pub snacks | Reservations: No
The West Asheville brewery has lagers, stouts, sours, and more on top as well as snacks like pretzels, queso, and hummus.

Eda’s Hide-a-Way , 1098 New Stock Rd., Weaverville | Bar | Reservations: No
Cocktails with spirits from Eda Rhyne Distilling Co., an array of beers, not to mention pool and ping-pong are in store at this laid-back bar .

Sister to Biltmore Village’s Andaaz, the restaurant dishes out a menu of everything from tandoori chicken wings to goan shrimp curry — plus, a well-stocked lunch buffet.

This neighborhood bar is a little hidden away — but down some unassuming stairs, you’ll find cocktails, beer, wine, and snacks.

The brewery and restaurant share a space for sippable craft beers and a menu of burgers, wings, rice bowls, and more — keep an eye out for Terra Nova’s Asheville location in early 2024.

Wander toward the back of Hi-Wire to get transported to get yourself on island time and try out wild drinks with crazy tropical garnishes.

The specialty market is already open for all your gourmet food needs, and you’ll be able to dine on wild game, invasive species, local fish, and more in the restaurant very soon.

The Dolly Llama Waffle Master , 2 Town Square Blvd., Ste. 130 | Dessert | Projected opening: January 2024
You’ll be able to satisfy your sweet tooth with bubble waffles, over-the-top ice cream + toppings, and extra large milkshakes.

Good Hot Fish , 10 Buxton Ave. | Casual fish camp | Projected opening: winter 2023
The much-anticipated restaurant of Chef Ashleigh Shanti will be opening a brick-and-mortar spot in Burial Beer Co.'s new music venue, Eulogy — in the meantime, you can catch the food at pop-ups.

Haywood Famous , Haywood Rd. | Coffee | Projected opening: spring 2024
The little Cuban coffee shop will be encouraging art, music, ideas, and sober community with its nighttime hours.

The Overlook , 28 Broadway St., Black Mountain | Elevated small plates | Projected opening: spring 2024
Located in the town’s historic icehouse building, the rooftop bar and restaurant aims to be a date night destination with seasonal food and meats from Foothills Local Meats.
