You might be familiar with The Times Bar & Coffee Shop as an intimate, sophisticated spot for a late-night craft cocktail — but did you know they also have a sensational selection of all drinks bright + summery? Or an impressive lineup of craft coffee creations?

This posh, elegant locale recently upgraded its menu + expanded its daytime hours. We checked it out so you can #TryThis for yourself. 👇

What we tried (with pricing):

Thanks to The Timesnew hours, you can start drinking (coffee, booze, or mocktails) at 10 a.m. Their coffee is available until 6 p.m. + signature cocktails through 1 a.m.

We started with the specialty Cardacoco Latte ($5), a creamsicle dream of an espresso drink that involves coconut, cardamom + delicate slivers of orange zest.

bellini

We also tried the effervescent Summer Bellini (think: lemon, bubbles, slightly tart + very drinkable, $8), and the Espresso Martini ($12), which is officially all-the-rage again — for good reason.

What we tried next:

half nelson

For a 2 p.m. “nightcap,” we finished with the flagship Half Nelson ($14), a smoked bourbon cocktail with a cherry-forward, fruity flourish.

What not to miss:

The seasonal cocktail list. These locally-sourced, majorly creative cocktails are only available for about 3 months before The Times’ mastermind bartenders develop fresh, new concoctions. Before summer ends, you can try the Kiwi Lime Pie (think: alcoholic key lime pie in a cup) for $15 + for those who like it spicy, the Sage & Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (starring fresno chili, sage, lime, bitters, pineapple, rum) for $12.

What we’re still talking about:

The interior design + decor. Seriously, we’re obsessed. The combination of vaulted ceilings, gold walls + velvety red curtains had us feeling transported to the 1920s (but like, post-pandemic). Basically, any photo taken in here is Instagram-worthy.
