So you’ve been to Biltmore House (and loved it). But did you know that there’s so much more to explore? Branded Content Editor Stephanie here, and I recently spent a morning exploring Biltmore Estate’s gardens and grounds, and I discovered so many amazing attractions that were totally new to me.
Keep reading to learn how you can Try This, and how to enjoy the beauty of the Biltmore all year long through their Annual Pass program .
What we tried:
It’s tulip season in Asheville, which means that Biltmore’s Walled Garden was covered in tulips, daffodils, pansies, and more. It was beautiful, and also just the beginning of all the activities + sights I enjoyed that day. 🌷
What not to miss:
The Conservatory is truly a sight to behold, where multiple rooms of hot and cold greenhouses showcase 2000+ native and exotic plants. Think: Palms over 30 feet tall, thousands of exotic orchids, a succulent room + more.
For foodies and wine lovers, Antler Hill Village is another can’t-miss stop. The area has Biltmore Winery access, shops + restaurants, and even a “village green” with live music on the weekends.
Pro tip: Tell the Winery that you want to hang out on the green, and they’ll give you plastic cups for your bottle.
What we’re still talking about:
I loved the live craft demonstrations at the Barnyard at Antler Village , learning how the blacksmiths and woodworkers repair items from the Biltmore House using the same techniques they would have used a hundred years ago.
