Rise and brine, Asheville. Pickle lovers, consider your plans made for Saturday, Sept. 9 because The Whale is hosting Kind of a Big Dill Picklefest at its West Asheville location.
From 1 to 5 p.m., the craft beer collective will celebrate all things pickles with themed vendors and games. DJ’s Pickles, Fermenti, Silas Sauce, and Pickle B*tch will be in attendance, serving up the pickle-based snacks of your dreams. Plus, compete against other festival goers in a round of pickle bobbing to earn prizes.
And of course, there will be no shortage of pickle beers. Small-batch brews and sippable sours from Urban Artifact, Fonta Flora Brewing, Prairie Artisan Ales, Benchtop Craft Brewing Co., Birds Fly South Ale Project, DSSOLVR, and Hi-Wire will all be on tap.
