Grab a yeast or gluten free version of these pumpkin pastries.

If you’re like us, you think the best way to complement the cooler weather and changing leaves is with a little fall treat. We’ve handpicked five items that you can indulge in to satisfy your seasonal sweet tooth.

Baked Pie Company , 4 Long Shoals Rd. Ste. A, Arden | Ring in the season with flavors like honey pecan, caramel apple, and apple crumb pie — or try a pie flight when it’s too tough to decide on just one.

French Broad Chocolates , 10 S. Pack Square + 821 Riverside Dr., Asheville | The local favorite Ginger Cookie is set to arrive back in the stores next week, but first, there’s an important question to answer — should it get a chocolate drizzle or half dip? Sound off in the comments (although the half dip seems to be taking the lead).

Poppy Handcrafted Popcorn , various locations | The brand’s fall flavors have popped onto the scene, with caramel apple, pumpkin spice, and southern pecan pie. Plus, try the brand new apple butter flavor, a collaboration with Mast General Store .

The Hop , various locations | Get in line to try all six of the seasonal ice cream releases — today, Sept. 26, the butterscotch apple cookie ice cream makes its debut at the 640 Merrimon Ave. location.

Stay Glazed Donuts & Cafe , 22 S. Pack Sq., Asheville | Our mouths are watering for the pumpkin spice donut, rolled in spiced sugar, filled with pumpkin crème, and topped with cream cheese drizzle.
