Asheville Beer Week is coming up soon: from Tuesday, May 19 to Saturday, May 27. With dozens of breweries in the area, how will you pick where to quench your thirst? Let this list guide you on your pursuit of hoppiness.
This iconic brewery has been in town since 1997 and has taprooms in two locations, both offering giant screens for movies + sports games, along with pizza and pub fare.
Open since 2013, this brewery and taproom, which has received awards for “America’s Best IPA” from Draft Magazine and "#1 Saison” from Paste Magazine, offers a permanent food truck and large outdoor area on South Slope.
The magical mural outside of Hi-Wire’s South Slope location is hard to miss.
The South Slope taproom is the original location of this brewery, which now has three locations in Asheville and will soon have eight others across the Southeast.
This Colorado-founded brewery has a gorgeous taproom + large outdoor space with lovely views of the French Broad River. There’s also a fun rotation of food trucks. Fun fact? Its Fat Tire Amber Ale is America’s first certified carbon neutral beer.
Enjoy plenty of outdoor and riverside seating at this local brewery, which specializes in open-fermented farmhouse ales and lagers and offers eats from the Taqueria Munoz food truck.

A solution: Mission Health’s CarePartners PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). Designed for people age 55+ who need home support, the program provides community-based care + services for people who might otherwise need nursing home-level care.
The result: Older adults retain their independence while being safely looked after in the comfort of their home.*
