Black Mountain’s Sourwood Festival is all the buzz this weekend, celebrating native honey with 250+ vendors, beekeeper demonstrations, a barbecue cook-off, and live music. Join the festivities from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, Aug. 10 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 11.
Civic
Submissions are in for Buncombe County’s “I Voted” sticker design contest, and now it’s time to visit the virtual polls. There are 69 entries to choose from, all created by local kids + teens. We’ll see what sticks when the winner is announced on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Cast your vote.
