It’s a big win for the night owls. We’re pouring over with excitement, because you can now get your fill of Cuban coffee and traditional Cuban pastries from Haywood Famous.

Owner Eva Rodriguez-Cué debuted the shop, located at 508 Haywood Rd., with a soft opening event last Thursday, Aug. 1, but you can visit throughout the month of August during limited hours, from 5 to 10:30 p.m. The shop will be closed on Wednesdays.

The pretty-in-pink space offers more than just coffee. It’s a place for inclusive community, art, music, events, and an alcohol-free social scene — sounds like an awesome third place if you ask us. Check out Haywood Famous on Instagram to follow the shop’s journey and stay up to date on special events.
