In the aftermath of Helene, the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County has been awarding funds to storm-damaged historic properties, helping our area sustain its heritage and sense of place. And with an anonymous $150,000 donation, PSABC announced a new grant round to continue restoration work in Biltmore Village, providing six grants of $25,000.
“Securing this funding for Biltmore Village will allow us to continue supporting businesses in one of the hardest hit, but most critical economic areas in our city,” PSABC’s Communication Coordinator Catherine Amos said in a press release.
Applications for this round of Biltmore Village grants are open through Monday, Dec. 1.
You can support the society’s work by celebrating the season in style at the Zealandia Holiday Party. Head to the showstopping, historic home for the festivities on Thursday, Dec. 11.
