Calling all Asheville audiophiles — Record Store Day is tomorrow, Saturday, April 20. Here’s where you can find the special releases you’re itching to get your hands on (or just some cool LPs to add to your collection).

Harvest Records

Wanna beat the crowds? Lucky for you, Harvest Records opens earlier than usual at 10 a.m. Plus, after looking through its Record Store Day selection, you can check out a fresh batch of used vinyl hitting the shelves at noon. Then keep the party going with DJ sets, free beer, and a pop-up from Garden Party.

Records in the RAD

The shop is opening up at 10 a.m. for you to browse the day’s special releases and the store’s new and used restocks. While you’re there, check out Records in the RAD’s art gallery, featuring paintings of famous musicians by Brian and Dylan Haynes, relatives of rocker Warren Haynes.

Static Age Records

Check out the special Record Store Day inventory before scooping it up when the store opens at 11 a.m. Plus, come back in the evening for a metal show or a night of DJ sets in the loft.

Citizen Vinyl

The record pressing facility + recording studio is hosting Citizen Vinyl Daze, a three-day celebration that begins today, Friday, April 19 with DJs, drink specials, tours and demos, and spotlights on different vinyl selections each day.

Earth River Records

The shop might not have any Record Store Day releases on hand this year, but you can still add to your collection at its 4/20 Spring Sale with 10% off storewide; a $1 sidewalk sale of selected LPs, CDs, and tapes; and a drop of rare punk and new wave 45s.
