While the spring LEAF Festival, originally slated for this weekend, has been postponed until the fall, the folks behind LEAF are giving us our fest fix through this weekend’s V-LEAF (that’s V for Virtual, btw).

The Festival is the largest fundraiser for the Foundation, as festival proceeds support the efforts of the foundation, including cultural arts education.

This Fri.-Sun., you can join the global LEAF community here. Here’s how they’ll be sharing the #LEAFlove

  • Music – The lineup will be a mixture of live + pre-recorded performances, and past shows from previous LEAF fests, from all genres and across borders. Each day’s schedule will be posted by 10 a.m. here.
  • International exploration – LEAF’s global mission includes cultural exchange across arts, music + more
  • Family-friendly music & arts – As with the fest, a major focus will be on kid-friendly activities and fun for the whole family
  • Info + inspiration for healing arts, shopping, food + more – I don’t know about y’all, but I’ll seriously be missing some of the delicious LEAF goodies (I’m looking at you, Sugar Shack). Luckily, V-LEAF will offer resources so you can get your fix – including recipes from some favorite LEAF eats.
  • An online auction to support the LEAF Foundation and LEAF’s future.

Check-in for V-LEAF opens Friday at 2 p.m. While you’re waiting, check out LEAF’s virtual classes and buy tickets for the fall fest – and 25th anniversary celebration – happening Oct. 22-25. Organizers working with the city are currently adapting LEAF Downtown, scheduled for Aug. 7-8, to match the health + safety needs of the community.
