Widespread Panic | Thursday, July 24-Saturday, July 26 | Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville | To welcome the famous jam band and fans, the venue is hosting a series of Shakedown Street vendor markets outside the show.

Silversun Pickups | Tuesday, July 29 | The Orange Peel | Just imagine hearing the crescendo of “Lazy Eye” live and loud.

Sixpence None the Richer | Monday, Aug. 25 | The Orange Peel | Hear late ‘90s hits like “Kiss Me” and “There She Goes.”

Stereolab | Saturday, Sept. 20 | The Orange Peel | The wildly influential (and maybe first ever) post-rock band will take you to the “French Disko” for the night.

Mt. Joy | Wednesday, Sept. 24 | Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville | The “Silver Lining” singers will make a pit stop in the 828 for their 2025 HOPE WE HAVE FUN Tour.

Peach Pit | Sunday, Oct. 5 | The Orange Peel | The indie-rock outfit has had several tracks go viral on TikTok, like “Alrighty Aphrodite” and “Shampoo Bottles.”

Indigo de Souza | Sunday, Nov. 2 | The Orange Peel | The Asheville-born and bred indie rocker’s new album, “Precipice,” comes out this month — she’ll finish her US tour for the record here in the Land of the Sky.

Beach Fossils | Thursday, Nov. 6 | Eulogy | Jangly guitars meet dreamy, pop synths with this NY band, known for songs like “What a Pleasure” and “Down the Line.”

Bowling for Soup | Tuesday, Nov. 11 | The Orange Peel | Scream out your favorite ‘90s hits like “1985" and “Girl All the Bad Guys Want” at the top of your lungs.

They Might Be Giants | Monday, Nov. 17 | The Orange Peel | The venue added a new date for the previously sold-out (and then postponed) three-night run.

Country, Americana + folk

The Head and the Heart | Tuesday, July 22 | Asheville Yards | The five-piece band will play their hits like “Rivers and Roads” along with new tracks from their latest album, “Aperture.”

Caamp | Thursday, Aug. 28 | Asheville Yards | The “Vagabond” singers are rapidly gaining popularity and will come to Asheville during their first headlining tour since 2023.

Sierra Ferrell | Sunday, Sept. 14 | Asheville Yards | The Granny-winning musician will bring her free-spirited, genre-bending sound (and astounding fashion) center stage, playing songs like “In Dreams.”

The Mountain Goats | Saturday, Sept. 20 | Hatch Amphitheater | After “Going to Georgia,” the indie folk band will play to downtown Asheville crowds.

Mipso | Saturday, Oct. 4 | The Orange Peel | The NC band boasting hits like “People Change” will play one of their last shows here in Asheville before embarking on an “indefinite hiatus.”

Neko Case | Wednesday, Oct. 8 | The Orange Peel | The genre-defying indie superstar will play her alt-country classics and 2000s indie folk melodies.

Turnpike Troubadours | Saturday, Oct. 25 | Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville | Known for tracks like “Long Hot Summer Day,” the country-tinged roots rock band will play with support from Dawes.

Watchhouse | Friday, Nov. 1-Saturday, Nov. 2 | The Orange Peel | Formerly known as Mandolin Orange, the NC band will strum old favorites like “Daylight” along with newer songs from their latest album, “Rituals.”

Washed Out | Saturday, July 26 | Burial Forestry Camp | The synth-pop artist is considered the “Godfather of Chillwave” — you may know the track “Feel It All Around” from the Portlandia opening sequence.

Fitz and the Tantrums | Friday, Aug. 22 | Sierra Nevada Amphitheater | Find your groove to dance along to chart-topping tunes like “Out of My League” and “HandClap.”

Matt Maeson | Monday, Oct. 27 | The Orange Peel | The “Hallucinogenics” hitmaker will tour with new tracks like “Everlasting,” his latest summer single.

Portugal. The Man | Monday, Dec. 8 | The Orange Peel | The indie pop band penned one of the biggest hits of 2017 with “Feel It Still.”

R&B

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue | Sunday, Sept. 21 | Sierra Nevada Amphitheater | The iconic musician and band leader will blur the lines between funk, soul, R&B, and psychedelic rock in a bold live show.

The California Honeydrops | Thursday, Oct. 16 | Sierra Nevada Amphitheater | The band brings a retro-soul sound with a modern pop edge, stopping in the 828 for their Redwood Highway Tour.

Classical

Mary Lattimore | Monday, Sept. 8 | AyurPrana Listening Room | The classically trained harpist blends her string instrument with a host of electronic sounds and augmentations to create a truly unique, relaxing sound.

The Music of Lord of the Rings| Tuesday, Nov. 4 | Diana Wortham Theatre | A symphonic orchestra will play the epic melodies from the film series — plus, expect an appearance from a special guest from the films.

Ben Folds with the Asheville Symphony | Friday, Oct. 10 | Thomas Wolfe Auditorium | The genre-bending singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will perform his well-known songs with a symphonic twist.
