It’s February 14. Whether you’re single, coupled, or want to marry your pet (seriously, stay with us), we’ve rounded up a few of the many V-Day events in town that will let you show your love and sorted them by theme – For the last minute planner, of course.

Singles’ Awareness Day

  • Palentine’s Day Luncheon | 12 – 2 p.m. | Tranzmission | 417 Biltmore Ave. | Meet new friends and enjoy candy, flowers, cards, + lunch for $7 – $20 (sliding scale). Palentines = Pale of mine.

For Foodies

  • Winter Beer Dinner Series: All You Need is Love | 6 p.m. | Twin Leaf Brewery | 144 Coxe Ave. | $50 | Fancy food (like steak au poivre + handmade truffles) from Smash Events. 🧐
  • Valentine’s Wine + Oysters | 4 – 10 p.m. | The Wine & Oyster | 2 Hendersonville Rd. | Meet sommelier Paul Parsons, then stick around for a discounted oyster + Prosecco feast ($75 for a dozen and a bottle, plus charcuterie and dessert) with live music. 🍾
  • Hole Lotta Love | 5 – 8 p.m. | Hole Doughnuts | 168 Haywood Rd. | Try all 3 Valentine’s-themed doughnuts, including Persian Love Cake, Cherry Amaretto, and French Broad Chocolate Malt 🍩

Adventure Time

  • Valentine’s Date Night + Mixer | 7 p.m. | Asheville Museum of Science | 43 Patton Ave. | Have a drink and learn all about the science of love, including the stages of love and gemology. 💎
  • Valentine’s Day Mass Fake Wedding Night | 8 p.m. | Fleetwood’s | 496 Haywood Rd. | Get fake-married to whatever you want (a pet, friend, rock, whatever) for the low price of $25. Ceremony followed by a champagne toast, cake, and a DJ dance party. Officiated by local comedian Blaine Perry.
  • Valentine’s Day with the Live Wires | 9 p.m. | One World Brewing | 10 Patton Ave. | Groove to jazz + swing from performers in period clothing while you sip on 3 taproom-only releases from the brewery. 🎷
