#AVLtoday Photo Album I Photo by @carolinaflowrs

Good morning, Asheville. One thing both Ali and I have really been enjoying more than ever are the stunning pics of our city and surrounding area y’all tag us in on social media. We’ve shared some historic pics in the past, but what we want to focus on today are our readers’ recent shots. In the midst of our current global state, it can be easy to lose sight of the beauty that still exists around us. So, we thought we’d put together a photo album of some of our favorites.

Yet from our city’s downtown streets and skylines to mountain vistas and the area’s vast natural wonders, we are rich in beautiful imagery. We may not be able to be out and about enjoying them right now, but we can ooh + ahh over all the things we love best and look forward to getting back to. They’re a visual panacea to us right now, and we hope the same is true for you.

Through this photo gallery of shots taken all around Asheville, provided by + tagged #AVLtoday by our readers, we hope to inspire you to continue to appreciate the charm + loveliness of the city we’re fortunate to call home. Whether you’re fully quarantined or practicing social distancing to your best ability, allow these images to be your invitation to open your curtains, water your plants + nourish the environment around you, along with yourself. 🌷

Be sure to continue tagging #AVLtoday on social platforms to be featured. We love seeing Asheville through your lenses.
