Spring is in full swing at the Biltmore Estate, where 100,000+ flowers are now in bloom (or will soon be) for Biltmore Blooms, ongoing through May 24. 80,000 bulbs were planted in the Walled Garden, including red, gold + purple tulips, with 20,000 more at the front entrance in a combination of gold, pink, dark purple + apricot. Close to 6,000 more flowers are blooming in the Antler Hill Village and Winery.
Tulips are some of the showiest flowers out right now, but they aren’t the only ones you’ll see–daffodils, wisteria + azalea are also blooming.
The season is one of the busiest times for the Estate, which estimates around 250,000 visitors for Biltmore Blooms. Over 50 gardeners, five arborists + 12 turf workers keep things looking beautiful on the grounds.
