Photo 1: gardener's hand holding several illustrated seed packets next to a pair of yellow gloves, tucked into a rust-colored work apron that features the "Sow True Seed" logo. The scene suggests hands-on preparation and the excitement of planting a seasonal garden.
Photo 2: A close-up of the back of a person wearing a "Sow True Seed" T-shirt, standing in a vibrant garden. The shirt reads “Sow True Seed – AVL N.C.” with the company’s logo below. In the foreground, rust-colored amaranth flowers frame the scene, while green corn stalks rise in the background, evoking a lush and thriving garden environment.
Photo 3: Hands delicately sowing seeds into a small orange seed-starting tray filled with soil. A handful of colorful seed packets—Chamomile, Lemon Cucumber, Flower Mix, Arugula, and Calendula—are spread nearby on a wooden surface, alongside a gardening book and trowel. The image captures the joy and intention behind beginning a garden from seed.

Sow True Seed offers 500+ types of GMO-free vegetable, herb, and flower seeds for gardening that supports our diverse ecosystem.

Sow True Seed has been providing high quality, open-pollinated seeds and expert gardening advice to the Asheville area and beyond since 2009.

Today, the locally based, 100% employee-owned cooperative will unveil its top-to-bottom brand refresh, inspired by all the changes the company has been through, and what they hope to become in the future.

Here’s what’s new in the transformation:

  • An updated website | All the seeds, supplies, and information you need at your fingertips

All updates intend to prioritize gardener education, growth, and discovery, helping you get the green thumb you’ve always wanted. Scroll through the new website to dig deeper into what’s new, or visit the (also recently renovated) shop in person at 243 Haywood St.
