“Diane, 11:30 a.m., February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks.” That was the day FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper first set foot in the eerie town at the heart of David Lynch’s cult-classic series “Twin Peaks.” Since the 90s, fans have been honoring February 24 as “Twin Peaks Day” — here’s how to celebrate it in Asheville.

Begin with a “damn fine cup of coffee” from Rowan’s West Asheville location before heading next door to Orbit DVD. Outside, you’ll find a “Twin Peaks"-themed mural by artist Austen Mikulka honoring the late Lynch. Of course, you’ll find the box set there, as well.

Then, head to Baked Pie Company in Arden for a slice of cherry pie that Agent Cooper would approve of. Lastly, drop by DSSOLVR to pick up the new “Not On The Hole” cherry pie donut sour — brewed special for “Twin Peaks” Day — before heading home to binge the series all over again.
