We love an outdoor concert. Especially when it’s free, family-friendly, and BYO snacks. UNC Asheville agrees with us, clearly, as they’re reprising their annual tradition of Concerts on the Quad.

In true Asheville fashion, this summertime series is anything but traditional. We’re not talking your standard string quartet here. The 2019 lineup for Concerts on the Quad spans multiple musical genres, offering up a variety of options for fans of everything from honky tonk to mountain gospel.

We put together an at-a-glance overview of this summer’s season below. Pick out which shows sound the most up your aural alley, or make plans to attend all three.
