This news is music to our ears — The Asheville Symphony Orchestra is kicking off its 2024-2025 season this Saturday, Sept. 7, with Symphony in the Park at Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville.

This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone, with classical works by Rossini, Strauss, and Bizet alongside Broadway hits and contemporary compositions from Dune, Superman, and more.

This year also marks the first time Symphony in the Park will be a part of a brand new festival, the Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, taking place Friday-Saturday, Sept. 6–7.
