Dreaming about summer, there’s plenty to look forward to: lazing in the sun, picnicking at your favorite river spot, and of course, AVLFest . From Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4, the music festival will host hundreds of artists at venues across the city for its second year.
Curious to know who those artists will be? The first wave of the lineup drops today at 10 a.m., but we’re here to give you an exclusive first look at the musicians + bands who will have you dancing the weekend away.
The Asheville-based, genre-bending band Papadosio is first on the bill, followed by psychedelic-country group Beachwood Sparks . Town Mountain, Blitzen Trapper, SG Goodman, River Whyless, The Mother Hips, Susto, The Heavy Heavy, and more will also take the stage.
