Pardon us while we fangirl. In this year’s Ultimate House Hunt — HGTV’s global competitive showcase of extraordinary homes — four homes in the Asheville area were selected as finalists .

Now through Tues., Aug. 2, there’s daily voting to select the winning homes, which are grouped across eight categories, including Downtown Dwellings, Curb Appeal, and Countryside Retreat. Ready for a tour? We sure are.

Downtown Dwellings: 23 Rankin Avenue

This two bedroom, two bath luxury condo — located above what is now Bold Rock Hard Cider’s downtown taproom — has received praise for the way it elegantly blends modern + classic architecture. A few notable features: exposed brick walls, floor-to-ceiling wood trusses, leathered granite countertops, hemlock floors, and a private 2,000 sqft deck. See more photos and take a video walk-through of the space.

Want to call this place home? It’s currently listed for $2.9 million by Julie Smith and Todd Kaderabek .

Curb Appeal: 215 Kimberly Avenue

This white colonial-style four bedroom-four bathroom home, which is part of the Grove Park neighborhood, features a brick walkway through the front yard, an impeccably landscaped lawn, a lavish kitchen with an abundance of natural light, and a stunning, short-term rental carriage house. It was purchased for $2.6 million this past May. See more photos .

Countryside Retreat: 10 Creek Hollow Court

Yes, that’s a turret you’re looking at. This stone mansion — nestled within The Cliffs of Walnut Cove — contains four ensuite bedrooms, a movie theater, a chef kitchen, and a spacious great room. The outside is just as outlandish, boasting a zipline and putting green across two acres of land. It was purchased for $4.7 million this past June. See more photos .

Countryside Retreat: 16 Boot Lake Lane, Brevard

This two bedroom-two bath mountain home is a midcentury modern fantasy. Sitting pretty in the Sherwood Forest community, highlights of the home include a wraparound deck, warm wood siding, crisp geometric architecture, and a lakeside property. There’s also a recreation room and an intimate patio area perfect for stargazing. It was purchased for $1.2 million this past May. See more photos .
