It’s the United States’ 245th birthday — and whether you’re looking for a classic fireworks show, great beer, or live music, Asheville is full of events to help you celebrate Fourth of July this Sunday.

If you want something low-key:

  • Check out Twisted Laurel’s (130 College St. ) July 4th Viewing Party from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. Tickets for patio seats (which run $30/seat) must be reserved in advance by calling (828)515-4151.
