The pho at PhoReal was indeed the real deal. | Photo by AVLtoday
Look forward to slurping up some noodle soup. Asheville has just welcomed a new pho restaurant with another Vietnamese spot on the way.
PhoReal just opened in the Merrimon Square shopping center, right next to The Hop. The Vietnamese spot offers more than just its namely noodle soup — stop by Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. for Bánh mì, Vietnamese fried rice, spring rolls, Ca Ri (sweet + spicy coconut milk curry), and more mouthwatering plates.
And while there isn’t much but a window sign to go off of, it appears West Asheville is getting a pho restaurant as well. Pho Haus will open up in the former Kota Kai spot on Haywood Road. We’ll dish up more delicious details as they come out.
