Though The Orange Peel first got its name in 1974, it sat vacant for many years before it was reborn into the iconic venue we know and love today. After a stint as an auto parts warehouse, the club reopened on Oct. 25, 2002. Since then, it has been home to over 3,000 shows, including performances by legendary artists like:

  • Bob Dylan
  • Childish Gambino
  • The Flaming Lips
  • Cyndi Lauper
  • Wanda Jackson

Want to be a part of the birthday bash? The club will host a weekend of concerts from Fri., Oct. 28-Sat., Oct. 29. Outkast founding member + Atlanta emcee Big Boi will kick off the celebration the first night. The following evening, the club will host the Grammy-award winning group Old Crow Medicine Show.

Bonus: If you want access to all the fun, you can buy the VIP package which includes a free t-shirt, poster, and access to the pre-party.
