Monday was a big day for the UNCA Women’s Golf Team. While at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove (where they practice), they were surprised with their own customized travel van.

The van was made possible by The Cliffs and by a group of private donors.

“What a great surprise for our student-athletes,” UNC Asheville women’s golf head coach Breanne Hall said. “During our first two years as a program, this is something that we have noticed that we needed to be able to continue to place ourselves among the best in women’s college golf. The generosity of others to make this van a reality allows our student-athletes the opportunity to continue to have one of the premier experiences in college golf at UNC Asheville.”

Decked out with comfy seats, UNC Asheville women’s golf logo, a two-door trunk that can conveniently hold the team’s equipment, Asheville Dogs emblem, and The Cliffs at Walnut Cove logo along the tinted windows, the team will be making an appearance to games + events in style.
