Where to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Asheville

Are you ready for some football? Ahem, not the American kind. The men’s 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off on Sunday, Nov. 20 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 18.

Luckily, you won’t need to catch a flight to Qatar to get in on the action. These local sports spots are gearing up (scarves and all) for the big tourney featuring watch parties, specials, and more.

Archetype Brewing - West, 265 Haywood Rd. | This neighborhood brewery will show the majority of matches throughout the tournament (besides the ones that kick off at 5 a.m.).

Bold Rock Hard Cider Taproom, 39 N. Lexington Ave. | This downtown cidery will stream all the opening round games and offer a variety of drink specials. Learn more.

Asheville Brewing Co., 675 Merrimon Ave. | Watch a supersized version of matches at this brewery’s North Asheville movie theater space. Tickets are free, but must be purchased in-person at the main bar. Get more deets.

Highland Brewing Co., 12 Old Charlotte Hwy. | Attend a watch party for the USA vs. Wales match on Monday, Nov. 21 from 2-5 p.m.

Burton Street Center, 124 Burton St. | Enjoy food + refreshments at this community watch party while cheering on the USA team on Monday, Nov. 21 from 2-5 p.m.
