Images of Trolls: A Field Study, an exhibit at The North Carolina Arboretum. All trolls are about 7 to 9 feet tall and made of wood, and have playful expressions. They stand among woods and gardens.

Thomas Dambo’s trolls can be found all over the world, and now they’re here in Asheville, too.
