Happy Tuesday, Asheville. Audra here.👋 DYK it’s my favorite time of year – a.k.a. when the outdoor farmers markets are in full force. Waking up at 8 a.m., grabbing a cup of coffee, and walking around the North Asheville Tailgate Market before heading to yoga is my version of a perfect Saturday. 🙌

There’s just something about purchasing and cooking local veggies + meats that make meals taste so. much. better.

So, for those of you who are ready to fill your market basket full of seasonal and handmade goodies, here’s a list of the area markets so you can get your local shop on.

It’s also CSA sign-up time (which stands for “Community Shared Agriculture”), in which you pick up a box of produce that comes straight from the farm. 🥕 This way you can eat like a real farmer all summer long. Most CSAs focus on veggies, but some also have fruits, meat, eggs, mushrooms + flowers.

See our guide to 15 CSAs, farm stands + community gardens in WNC here.

Excited for this seasons’ farmers market? Kale yeah. 🥬 Click any of the buttons below to pass this list on to a friend.
