The ever-so-slight chill in the morning air recently has seemed to spur on the inevitable — pumpkin spice season has arrived. And since Asheville spots are fully embracing the go big or gourd home mantra with their seasonal menus, we decided to round up just a few pumpkin treats that will spice things up.

Pumpkin Spicewalla Latte Imperial Stout, Hi-Wire Brewing and Spicewalla
This collaborative limited release combines the flavors of Spicewalla’s Pumpkin Pie Spice and High Noon’s Sumatran coffee into one delicious brew. It’s been on menus since July, but you can stop by a special tasting event at Spicewalla in The Grove this Saturday, Sept. 14.

Chai-Spiced Pumpkin Pie, Rabbit Hole
There are lots of pumpkin and pumpkin-adjacent treats to be found at Rabbit Hole, but the combination of pumpkin pie and the equally cozy classic chai is almost too gourd to be true.

Pumpkin Ice Cream, The Hop
This frozen delicacy is a pick of the patch made with local kabocha, Japanese pumpkins grown by Lee’s One Fortune Farm. The ice cream will be available as dairy or vegan starting Friday, Sept. 27.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Latte, Summit Coffee
Step aside, pumpkin spice. There’s a new latte take in town. Summit starts with a pumpkin and brown butter iced latte, then tops it with pumpkin cheesecake cold foam and crushed graham crackers.
