Time for a P-A-R-T-Y like no other, Asheville. 🎉 Highland Brewing turns 25 this weekend (May 3 + 4) and you are invited to their huge, two-day celebration. This 25th Anniversary Party will reflect on Highland’s success over the past 25 years, as well as provide first look on what’s in store next. 🍻

To get the party started, on Friday Highland will give you a first taste of what’s to come in their growing barrel-aged beer program. They will release fewer than 200 bottles (500 ml) of Silver & Steel Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. In addition to their lineup of small batch releases, they will launch the release of two new brews: Slow Crush (Tart Spritz Ale) and Rustic IPA (25th Anniversary Ale).

There will also be a full lineup of WNC bands to keep the party rocking. 🎶

And, while this party is free + open to the public, if you are really ready to celebrate you can purchase a VIP Ticket ($25) which will include:

  • A meet and greet with President Leah Wong Ashburn + Founder Oscar Wong
  • The best view for fireworks from the Rooftop Bar
  • Access to exclusive small batch beer releases
  • Access to the VIP lounge in the Event Center
  • Complimentary food from Sovereign Remedies Catering + Events
  • Live-streaming of all music acts in the VIP Lounge
  • A parking pass

Protip: Parking will only be available to VIP Ticket holders. If you do not have a VIP Ticket, it is best to Uber or Lyft to the event. A free shuttle will run from AC Reynolds High School and the brewery from 4 to 11 p.m.

But wait, there’s more – the party continues on Saturday with the 25th Anniversary Community & Family Day. Bring the entire family from 12 to 4 p.m. for a bounce castle, face painting, balloon art, caricatures, educational booths (Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, MANNA FoodBank, Asheville Humane Society, Helpmate + WNC Nature Center) + more.

The Hop will be dishing out ice cream treats from 12 to 6 p.m., food trucks will be around to cure your hunger, there will be all the beer you could want, music from DJ Oso and The Whiskeyhickon Boys, plus so much more. 🍻
