How to donate a meal this holiday season

We heard from several readers this year looking to pass on a little holiday cheer to folks in need this season. So we turned to you to get your suggestions + tips on how to donate or sponsor a meal for a family in need. Here’s what you said –

Asheville Pandemic of Love is collecting grocery gift cards for Thanksgiving meals. We are asking for cards from Harris Teeter, Walmart, Aldi and or Ingles. I will distribute the cards over the weekend to those who are registered with us for assistance. – Suzi I.
