Ten companies in Asheville and the Western N.C. region rank among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation, according to the newest Inc. 5000 list released earlier this month.

The annual list – which is 37-years running – ranks 5,000 of the country’s quickest-growing private companies. This year’s list of ventures raked in a collective $206.2 billion in revenue in 2017 and have three-year rev growth rates of up to 75,661%.

Here are the 10 WNC companies that made the list –

#562 Avadim Technologies

Location 📍: Asheville | Industry 💼: Health | Growth 📈: 901% | Revenue 💰: $10.8 million

This medical manufacturer has three main technologies: Theraworx, a hygine system used by hospitals (think of a realllly intense hand sanitizer), [ph]uel5, a spray + foam that helps reduce muscle soreness and tightness and Combat One, a military-grade hygiene system (the most intense wet-wipes, ever).

#1254 Symmetry Financial Group

📍: Swannanoa | 💼: Insurance |📈: 386% | 💰: $30.5 million

Creates personalized insurance plans, and supports agents in lead generation, marketing + contracting. Think of it like real estate groups within agencies.

#1254 Security Camera Warehouse

📍: Asheville | 💼: Security |📈: 343% | 💰:$7.7 million

Basically, high-end surveillance equipment (like cameras that can be watched remotely) sold directly (so there’s no middle man).

#1384 Blueprint Summer Programs

Specializes in commercial and industrial rooftop installation and maintenance. Some of their projects include the Asheville Mall, Mission Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, GE, Antler Village Hotel + more.
