Hey there, Asheville. How are y’all doing? With everything that’s going on, it’s hard to maintain normalcy, and I know many of us — myself included — rely heavily on exercise to keep our anxiety at bay. We at AVLtoday are working from home, as are many of us, and more and more spots are closing to the public daily. That’s why we asked y’all which spots in town are transitioning to virtual classes, and I was elated to find out there are a fair number of spots that will help you get your sweat (or zen, if that’s more your speed) on from the safety of your own home.
Here a few of the spots offering virtual fitness opportunities:
It is a huge relief that I (and other members) will be able to punch + kick our way through HIIT workouts at home thanks to their online classes.
All group + private classes are now virtual.
In addition to rolling out virtual classes today, they’ll also be posting at-home workouts, Zoom classes, creating YouTube videos, and writing individualized programming. They’re also lending out equipment and recording a podcast to help keep folks engaged and focused on their health + wellness.
From beginning + gentle yoga to vinyasa + power yoga, they’re all available online.
They’re offering online live streaming classes that are limited to 10 folks so the instructor can see folks clearly and instruct accordingly. They’re also offering private classes online if that’s more your speed. See the schedule + sign up here.
Members can utilize the premium exercise app — Gold’s AMP — while the gym is closed, which is normally only available for an additional fee.
Members can take advantage of their livestream classes while the studio is closed.
Find scheduled + popup yoga + wellness classes online.
Current members can access free online workouts via Jazzercize on Demand, and it will be available to other folks for a fee after the initial free trial. They’ll also be posting home dance-based workouts in the near future on their Facebook + Instagram accounts.
Get a major sweat sesh at home with their online classes.
You can now get fun, play-based group + Individual workouts online. Choose from pre-designed bodyweight workouts or opt for customized ones.
While they’re still holding in-studio classes for groups of 10 or fewer, they’re also offering Hot Power, Warm Vinyasa + more online as well.
Breathe, stretch + bend safely at home with their new virtual classes.
Get your virtual dance on with their classes, which include hip hop fitness, kids dance, and more.
Find Kundalini yoga, meditation, pre- and post-natal yoga + more online.
Follow them on social media for updates on how to take advantage of their cycling + fitness offerings online.
