We give you a new biz roundup every season, but let’s take a minute to focus in on the West side of Asheville. Many of you have asked “what’s new on Haywood Rd.?” and we’ve got the skinny. We have shared all of these on Facebook, Instagram + our newsletterbut here we’re highlighting three that we are pretty excited about. 🙌

Meet the three new spots that are now or almost open in West Asheville. ⬇️

Now open…

Haywood Country Club |📍662 Haywood Rd. | Haywood Country Club just recently opened less than a month ago in the former I&J building – The late-night spot for last minute 6-pack beer runs. The owners of Banks Ave. and Cascade Lounge joined forces to open this new local hotspot nightclub serving wine, beer, cocktails + spirits. 🍸

Coming soon...

Itto Ramen Bar & Tapas |📍630 Haywood Rd. | Owner Tony Lin (owner of Hana Japanese Hibachi & Sushi Bar on Biltmore Ave. in downtown) is bringing his family’s recipe for ramen broth to the West side. Itto Ramen will fill the former space of Lucky Otter, serving around 10 types of ramen with homemade noodles + broth, plus small plates like veggie dishes + sushi you can pair with wine, beer or sake. It’s the second ramen restaurant announced in the last week – Charlotte-based Futo Buta Ramen plans to open in the former bartaco space downtown (121 Biltmore Ave.). 🍜

The Golden Pineapple |📍503 Haywood Rd. | This new bar will serve craft cocktails, tiki drinks, wine + classic dive deals (like a shot and a beer). Founders Donnie Pratt and Katey Ryder both have extensive bartending experience at spots like Cucina24, MG Road + even events for The Blind Pig.🍹

I love the hype new businesses bring. And, new spots to get a good cocktail are always an added bonus. DYK: The golden pineapple symbolizes hospitality? 🍍 I’ll cheers to that.

Stay tuned for more business updates as these #ComingSoon spots get closer to their opening dates.

TGIF, Asheville.
